SITEP Italia SpA, which manages the internet portal (hereinafter referred to as the Site), intends to give an accurate description of how the users’ personal data will be treated, including the policy according to art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196, dated June 30th, 2003 (“Privacy Code”).

This policy does not apply to other Web sites that may be viewed from our links, for which SITEP Italia SpA declines any responsibility.

The following description is also drawn from the guidelines appearing in art. 29 of directive no. 95/46/EC, particularly relating to the collection of personal data on Internet.

Terms and conditions of use

The purpose of the Site is to provide its receivers, whether they are companies, organizations, institutions or single users (hereinafter referred to as Users), information concerning the company’s structure, services provided and methods of rendering such services. The User acknowledges that utilization of this Site is subordinate to the acceptance of the terms and conditions established herewith.

Intellectual property

We reserve all rights of contents (for ex. Texts, images, and architecture of the Site) as established by current regulations.

The contents appearing on the Site’s pages cannot be, either partially or completely, copied, reproduced, transferred, loaded, published, or distributed without advance written consent from SITEP Italia SpA, with the exception of storing the content on your device, or printing excerpts from the Site’s pages for personal use only.

Whatever link appears on the Site, if added by a third party, must not, in any manner, cause damage to the image or activities of SITEP Italia SpA.

Deep linking of parts of the Site is prohibited, that is, non transparent use on third party sites.

Direct connection to the Site’s pages, relative to services rendered on-line by SITEP Italia SpA is also prohibited as this requires the acquisition of the Users’ personal data. The User must first pass through the service’s introductory page that bears the Privacy Code.

Should such provisions be infringed, except for express written consent, the infringer shall be persecuted in the competent civil and penal judiciary offices.

Limitations of liability

SITEP Italia SpA, except if otherwise prescribed by law, shall not, in any manner, be held liable for any damages directly or indirectly caused by access to the Site, by the incapability or impossibility of access, reliability of information appearing in it, or of its use.

SITEP Italia SpA reserves the right to change the contents appearing on the Site and on this page at any time without advance notice.

SITEP Italia SpA declines any responsibility for services offered by a third party with whom the Site has activated a connection link, including all other contents, information, or anything else appearing in the third party’s connection to the aforementioned link not in observance of Italian laws.

Connections to external links are offered as a service to Users, and exclude any responsibility regarding accuracy and completeness of all the aforementioned connections.

Furthermore, indication of links does not imply that SITEP Italia SpA, approves or shares any responsibility whatsoever in relation to completeness and accuracy of information in the indicated sites.

Holder of treatment

SITEP Italia SpA is the holder of the aforementioned personal data deriving from use of the Site. Legal ownership is exercised through the office of SITEP Italia SpA, Via Vincinella 12, 19037 Santo Stefano di Magra (SP) Italy.

Rights to access private data

According to art. 7 of the Privacy Code, the person concerned has the right, at any given time, to obtain the confirmation of his /her data, origin, content for verifying accuracy, and request that they be integrated, updated or rectified.

The person concerned also has the right to request the cancellation, anonymous transformation, or to block treated data which is non-conformant to the law. The person concerned also has the right to object, for lawful reasons, to his/her private data treatment.

Scope of private data treated

Netsurfing data

Data processing systems and software procedures implemented for running this Site, during normal functioning, collect personal data which implies transmission of the same when using Internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected with the purpose of associating it to any identifiable person, but because of its very nature, it could allow identification of its users through processing and association of data held by third parties.

This category of data includes IP (Internet Protocol) addresses, or the names of the domains of the User’s computers who connects to the Site, the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) addresses of the requested resources, time of request, the method used for making the request to the server, the size of the file obtained through the request, the numerical code indicating the state of the answer given to the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relative to the operative system and the User’s data processing environs.

These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical data concerning use of the Site and for checking proper functioning of the same.

Furthermore, these data could also be used, upon request, by the competent judiciary authorities and guarantees as established by law for determining liabilities of data processing infringements committed to the Site.

Cookie is not used for relaying personal information.

Data relayed by the User

The data required for data processing procedures and inserted by the User for compiling the pages relative to the services rendered by the Site are acquired and stored in the server’s memory support system and protected by validating systems. Access to these pages is strictly personal and based on the use of validating credentials solely in possession of each single User.

These instances require the necessity of conferring the data for rendering services to the Users. Lack of conferment makes it impossible to obtain the service requested.

Specific information dedicated to such services appears on the Site’s pages, furnished upon request.

The option of sending e-mails, explicit and voluntary, to the addresses appearing on this Site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary for answering the requests, and also other possible personal data included in the message.

When requesting services, SITEP Italia SpA suggests that the Users not send names or other third party personal data unless absolutely necessary.

Place and purpose of data treatment

Data treatment connected to services offered by this portal on the Web occurs in the holder’s and external responsible party’s office, and is only handled by employees or collaborators appointed for the purpose of data treatment.

In the extent of the aforementioned scope, the data collected cannot be disclosed to external individuals, with the exception of possible acquisition of data requested by judicial authorities or the investigative police for the prevention and verification of crimes and non-compliance with laws.

No data deriving from Web services is disclosed.

Personal data furnished by Users that access computerized services furnished through the Site are solely used for the purpose of rendering the service itself or satisfying other requests, and are not transmitted to third parties, unless the communication is subject to fulfill obligations set forth by law, or if strictly necessary for fulfilling the Users requests.

Part of the data are also compiled anonymously for the purpose of processing statistical data necessary to formulate strategies of proactive assistance, of which the primary objective is to provide new personalized services and to facilitate, for precautionary measures, fulfillment of the User’s requests.

Treatment modalities

Private data treatment occurs exclusively by authorized people, using automatic devices for the necessary amount of time needed to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. In order to prevent loss of the data, including unlawful or improper used of the same, specific safety measures have been implemented, appropriate for guaranteeing the confidential nature and prevention of access by third parties or non authorized people to such data, in compliance with laws.
